Graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Midwifery, I quickly came to realise my passion for both midwifery and childbirth education. With antenatal classes scarce due to budget cuts and Covid-19, I found women coming into the hospital with little knowledge surrounding the choices they had regarding their care, as well as the little advocation their partners could provide simply because they didn't know. This drives my passion for giving women all options, as well as a toolkit to eliminate fear and feel empowered in their birth, regardless of the direction it takes.
Family
In true Midwife style, my pregnancy and birth did not go as I planned or hoped. But having the HypnoBirthing toolkit under my belt, I still felt in control and made the best choices for myself and my little girl Mila Mae.
